I believe that most of the summer time should be spent on a cool balcony with the shades down, or at the lake or an open-air swimming pool just chilling with a good book. However this doesn’t mean that we will give up on delicious homemade meal! So to keep the time spent in the kitchen as short as possible, I like to make a large jar of this dressing and keep it in the refrigerator and use it on so many things like salad, cold noodles, or just drizzle over a plate of salmon filet and some veggies. It instantly adds a vibrant Asian flavour to all dishes that it is added to. I love to use this dressing for my ahi tuna salad or a cold soba noodle salad (see below our recent lunch with the dressing!)
Here is the recipe for 4-5 servings of large salad bowl. Put them all in a jar and shake until well combined. Best when consumed within 3 days (because of the fresh green onions and fresh lime juice)
- 4 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp water
- 4 Tbsp agave syrup or maple syrup
- 8 Tbsp lime juice (about 2 limes)
- 2 garlic cloves, pressed
- 4 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1.5 Tbsp sriracha sauce
- 2 Tbsp tahini
- 2 Tbsp roasted sesame seeds
- 1 Tbsp chopped green onions
